Mogo Inc. receives a Reduce rating from our analysis, with a composite score of 40.6/100 and 2 out of 5 stars, ranking #3460 out of 7,333 stocks. ORIO's factor profile shows weakness across multiple dimensions, suggesting the stock may underperform going forward. Existing holders may want to consider trimming positions or tightening stop-losses.
With a quality score of 51/100, ORIO shows adequate but unremarkable business quality. The company reports a return on equity of -67.4% (sector avg: 9.0%), gross margins of 65.6% (sector avg: 77.7%), net margins of -19.2% (sector avg: 21.9%). This suggests the company generates acceptable returns but may lack the competitive positioning or operational efficiency to stand out from peers.
ORIO registers a value score of just 23/100, suggesting the stock trades at a significant premium to its fundamental metrics. Key valuation metrics include a P/B ratio of 0.47x. High-premium valuations like this require strong future execution to avoid multiple compression, and downside risk is elevated if growth disappoints.
ORIO shows a solid investment score of 63/100, reflecting measured but productive capital allocation. Key growth metrics include a return on assets of -28.8% (sector: 1.3%). This suggests the company is investing at an appropriate level to sustain growth without overextending its balance sheet.
Mogo Inc. is experiencing notably weak momentum with a score of just 25/100. The stock has underperformed its peers and is trending below major moving averages. Revenue growth data is not currently available, while a beta of 2.76 reflects its sensitivity to broader market moves. While deep momentum weakness can occasionally present value opportunities, it often reflects deteriorating fundamentals or structural headwinds that may persist.
ORIO's stability score of 32/100 signals elevated volatility and/or leverage concerns. Key stability metrics include a beta of 2.76 and a debt-to-equity ratio of 0.00x (sector avg: 0.5x). Investors should be prepared for wider-than-average price swings and consider position sizing accordingly to manage portfolio risk.
ORIO carries a short interest score of 66/100, indicating moderate short selling activity. This is a neutral reading — not enough to signal systemic bearishness, but worth monitoring. Specific risk factors include high market sensitivity (beta: 2.76), micro-cap liquidity risk. At $0 market cap (micro-cap), Mogo Inc. offers reasonable institutional liquidity.
Mogo Inc. is a micro-cap company in the Finance, Insurance, And Real Estate sector, ranked #0 of 50 in its sector (100th percentile) and #3460 of 7,333 overall (53rd percentile). Key comparisons include ROE of -67.4% trailing the 9.0% sector median and operating margins of -11.4% below the 18.1% sector average. This top-quartile standing reflects exceptional competitive strength relative to Finance, Insurance, And Real Estate peers.
While ORIO currently exhibits a REDUCE profile, superior opportunities exist within the FINANCE, INSURANCE, AND REAL ESTATE sector. Our model identifies several "Strong Buy" candidates with higher quality scores and more attractive valuations among direct industry competitors.
