IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER: Blank Capital Research ("BCR") is a technology platform, not a registered investment advisor or broker-dealer. The algorithmically generated signals, scores, and rankings provided on this site ("God Mode" Signals) are for informational and research purposes only and do not constitute financial advice, investment recommendations, or an offer to sell or solicit an offer to buy any securities.
HYPOTHETICAL PERFORMANCE RESULTS: The "timing scores" and "regime signals" displayed are based on quantitative models. Hypothetical or simulated performance results have certain inherent limitations. Unlike an actual performance record, simulated results do not represent actual trading. Also, since the trades have not actually been executed, the results may have under-or-over compensated for the impact, if any, of certain market factors, such as lack of liquidity.
RISK OF LOSS: Trading in financial markets involves a high degree of risk and may result in the loss of your entire investment. Data provided by third-party sources (Intrinio, Snowflake) is believed to be reliable but is not guaranteed for accuracy or completeness. Past performance is not indicative of future results.

Editorial policy · How the site works
Blank Capital Research is an independent publication without advertising, sponsored coverage, or affiliate links. These are the rules under which things get written, edited, and, when necessary, corrected.
This publication exists because the academic factor literature already tells you what drives equity returns, most of the time, if you bother to read it. The site is a library of those papers, walked through one at a time. The Capital Memo is the daily version of the same impulse. The publication deals in explanation and argument, not stock rankings or composite scores.
Plain-English walkthroughs of peer-reviewed academic papers: Fama-French, Jegadeesh-Titman, Novy-Marx, Asness-Frazzini-Pedersen, Hou-Xue-Zhang, and every meaningful follow-up. Each page summarizes the thesis, the math, and where the factor holds up or breaks down. Draft, edit, citation check, and factor-math review before publishing. No auto-publishing.
Research notes at /research are written by the editor and fact-checked against primary sources before publication. Notes represent the views of their named author, not investment recommendations.
Ships Monday through Friday at 9 AM Central. Each issue works through one piece of the research behind capital allocation. Spinoffs, buybacks, ROIC. Or pulls in a factor paper from the Learn library when the two connect. Edited by Marques Blank, sent via Beehiiv, archived permanently at /newsletter.
AI tools (Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini, OpenAI) get used as drafting and research aids. The policy is straightforward:
The publication relies on:
Reasonable effort is made to ensure accuracy, but third-party sources may have errors or delays. See the disclaimer for limitations.
Accuracy is foundational. If the publication gets something wrong, corrections are issued promptly and noted inline on the affected article with the date of the correction. To flag an error, email corrections@blankcapitalresearch.com. Every note gets a response within two business days.
Blank Capital Research is an independent publication. Editorial coverage decisions are made by the editor based on what the academic literature supports, what's relevant to current markets, and what readers are asking about. Commercial relationships play no role. The site does not rank stocks, does not publish composite scores, and does not sell a ratings product; there is nothing an outside party could pay anyone here to influence.
